NU men fall flat in loss to Manhattan

Niagara Gazette — George Beamon pumped in 27 points to lead Manhattan.┬áRich Williams and Shane Richards scored 14 and 11 points, respectively, off the bench while starters Ashton Pankey and Rhamel Brown added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

The win was the sixth straight for Manhattan, which remains in second place, two games behind conference-leading Iona.

Niagara will wrap up its home schedule with a two-game homestand beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday against Fairfield. The game will air live on ESPN 1520 AM and on Purple Eagles All-Access.
