Sunday, Sept. 14

- Bass and perch contest at Brauer’s Restaurant, 6612 Campbell Blvd., Pendleton. You must pre-register. The cost is $10. For more information, call 625-8122.

- Fall Warm Up 3-D Archery Shoot, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wilson Conservation Club, Route 425, Wilson. The cost is $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Children under 12 years of age are free. All shoots are open to the public.



Monday, Sept. 15

- Firearms Hunter Safety Training Class at the Hartland Conservationists Club, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Orangeport Road, Gasport. Parts 2 and 3 will be Wednesday and Friday. - Start of the 2008 AES/Greater Niagara Fish Odyssey Derby. Continues through Sept. 28. Register at local tackle shops or online at www.fishodyssey.net. The cost is $20 for adults and free for kids 15 and under. Weigh stations are Big Catch in Buffalo; Niagara Outdoors in North Tonawanda; A-1 Bait in Lewiston; The Boat Doctors in Olcott and Narby’s in Orleans County.

- Lower Niagara Walleye Contest sponsored by A-1 Bait and Outdoors Niagara.com from sunrise to 2 p.m. Scales are open from 1 to 2 p.m. at Fort Niagara. Register online or at A-1.
