• ARREST: A Buffalo man was arrested following a reported trespassing incident at 2:25 a.m.

Saturday at a building in the 300 block of Fourth Street. Kelly Foster, 54, 400 Forrest Ave., Buffalo, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass after security at the building witnessed him panhandling and picking up cigarette butts. He was reportedly taken into custody without incident and transported to police headquarters.
• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a reported robbery which occurred at 2 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of 18th Street. The victim, a 38-year-old woman, told officers she was walking home from a bar at the intersection of Cudaback Avenue and 22nd Street when she was approached by a man who demanded her purse. She said she refused and struggled with the man when he attempted to grab it. She said he repeatedly punched her in the head, causing lacerations, and was able to take the purse from her. She said the man ran towards Niagara Street. The purse and its contents are valued at $175.
