BLOTTER: Police reports published Jan. 12

Niagara Falls 

• VANDALISM: Officers are looking into an act of vandalism in the 1500 block of Main Street. Police said three vehicles, parked in a fenced-in lot, each had a tire slashed sometime between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after he was stopped by police in the 7300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with items taken in a pair of shoplifting incidents. Raymond C. Wolbert, 57, 6115 Niagara Falls Blvd., Apt. 1, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. 

 
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 400 block of 18th Street. A 23-year-old man told officers that sometime between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. Thursday, someone broke into his apartment through an unlocked rear door. The victim said a stereo system, two TVs and a PlayStation 3 game system were taken.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a supermarket in the 1000 block of Portage Avenue at 7:20 p.m. Thursday. Daryl Jason Baughman, 26, 1102 Main St., Apt. 6, was charged with petit larceny. Baughman is accused of taking a bottle of High Gravity Lager Beer without paying for it.
