BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 1

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from the 2000 block of Walnut Avenue. A 46-year-old man told police that sometime between 2:30 and 7:45 a.m. Thursday, someone took five bundles of roofing shingles from his backyard.

 
• THEFT: Police are looking for a suspect in a series of shoplifting incidents at a convenience store in the 4700 block of Hyde Park Boulevard. The store owner told officers the incidents occurred on Wednesday and Thursday and more than $120 worth of merchandise was taken. The suspect reportedly took large amounts of beer and antifreeze. Police said there is surveillance video of the thefts.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic violence incident in the 700 block of Augustus Place at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday. Cortez D. Davis, 23, 729 Augustus Place, was charged with third-degree assault and unlawful possession of marijuana.

 
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after an assault in the 3300 block of Ninth Street at 8:10 p.m. Thursday. Tashayla L. Bradley, 23, 1856 Pierce Ave., was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree menacing. Bradley is accused of slashing another woman with a box cutter during an argument.

 
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 500 block of 28th Street. A 33-year-old man told police that sometime between Nov. 23 and 24, someone entered his apartment through a “large dog door.” The victim said a large quantity of sports equipment, an iPad 2 and a toothbrush were taken.

 
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1100 block of Haeberle Avenue. A witness told officers he saw a male suspect kick-in the door of his neighbor’s home around 7:50 p.m. Thursday. The witness said he chased the suspect from the front porch of his neighbor’s home. The suspect was last seen running south toward Pine Avenue.
