BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 28

Niagara Falls

• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the 1300 block of Elmwood Avenue. A 24-year-old man told officers that he went to the home of an acquaintance there at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday to help him move some items and was confronted by the man and another suspect. The pair demanded money and a fight broke out. The victim said he was hit in the head with the stock of a rifle and fell down. The suspects took a small amount of cash from the victim and he then ran from the home.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a car break-in in the 3200 block of Ninth Street. A 69-year-old man told police that sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 6:40 a.m. Tuesday someone broke into his 1996 Lincoln Roadmaster by smashing the driver's-side window. The victim said three bottles of Cotylenol were taken.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 500 block of 87th Street. A 49-year-old man told officers that sometime between 9 a.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Monday someone broke into his garage by unknown means. The victim said a power washer and a number of power and hand tools were taken.
