BLOTTER: Police reports published Sept. 14

Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested on drug and theft charges after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 5 p.m. Thursday. Jennifer Nicole Nageotte, 26, 1223 Haeberle Ave., was charged with petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance outside its original container. Nageotte is accused of taking more than $50 worth of makeup without paying for it and having a quantity of Oxycodone pills in her purse when she was taken into custody.

• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the 1600 block of Willow Avenue. Three men told officers they went to a convenience store in the 1500 block of Pierce Avenue at 9:56 p.m. Thursday and bought beer. When they left the store, they walked north on 17th Street and entered the alley between Willow and Linwood avenues. In the alley, three men approached them and a car cut them off. The suspects ordered them to their knees at gunpoint and demanded that they "empty their pockets." One of the victims said he attempted to run away, but was tackled from behind and pistol-whipped. The other victims also said they were pistol-whipped, kicked and punched. The suspects took the victims' cash and a cell phone and were last seen running north on 16th Street toward South Avenue.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident in the 3400 block of Ninth Street at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday. Lorenzo West, 52, 3443 Ninth St., was charged with second-degree assault.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a domestic incident in the 500 block of 10th Street at 9:48 p.m. Tuesday. Angela Nicole Sciandra, 43, 3443 Ninth St., was charged with second-degree assault.

  

City of Lockport

• DWI: Kyle T. Stewart, 26, 2127 River Road, Wheatfield, was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, unreasonable speed, improper lane use, criminal possession of hypodermic needles and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 8:56 p.m., police responded to Walnut Street for a report of a single-car accident. The vehicle hit a tree and ran over a sign. According to the report, Stewart had watery eyes and his pupils were dilated. The caller said Stewart hid something in the bushes. Police said they found a sunglass case with three oxymorphone pills and eight hypodermic needles. Stewart complained of neck pain and was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Lockport. Stewart was administered a blood test.

A clerk told officers that four suspects, two males and two females, entered the store at 5:32 a.m. Wednesday and one of the women brought several items to the counter and paid for them with a New York state benefit card.

    Police are investigating a burglary in the 2500 block of 29th Street. An agent with the CSX Railroad Security Department told officers that sometime between April 4 and noon Monday, someone forced open the door to a storage shed on his company’s property.
