BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 13

Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls teen was arrested after a fight and incident of vandalism in the 600 block of 70th Street. William John Huffman-Lewis, 18, 8733 Tuscarora Road, was charged with second and fourth-degree criminal mischief. he is accused of doing damage to a car by hitting it with a baseball bat.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a car break-in in the 1500 block of Military Road. A 60-year-old woman told police that sometime between 1:50 and 2:45 p.m.Monday someone broke into her 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe by smashing a passenger-side window. The victim said $1,100 worth of clothing was taken from the vehicle.

• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the 2400 block of Niagara Street. A 59-year-old woman told officers she was walking into church at 6:26 p.m. Monday when a man grabbed her purse. The suspect then ran south down 24th Street and east on Welch Avenue. 

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a car break-in on O'Laughlin Way. A 40-year-old woman told police that sometime between 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. Monday someone broke into her 2013 Chrysler Town & Country by smashing a passenger-side window. The victim said a briefcase and a laptop computer were taken.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from the 1600 block of Niagara Avenue. A 45-year-old man told police that a female friend and another woman stopped by his apartment at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. When the women left his apartment, the man noticed that his car keys were missing. The victim said he then went outside and sawn his friend driving away in his 2002 Suzuki Vitara.
