Beer stolen from trailer

A tractor-trailer driver reported a quantity of beer was stolen out of the trailer over the weekend while it was parked in the 6600 block of Ridge Road.

The driver for Pennsylvania-based Napa Transportation told the Niagara County Sheriff's Office that eight 30-packs of Coors Light beer were taken from the trailer.

The driver made the discovery just after midnight Monday when he was inspecting the trailer ahead of traveling and found the latch on the trailer door was broken. Upon entering the trailer, the driver saw the plastic wrap on a pallet of beer was torn and eight cases were missing.
