Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Lewiston woman was arrested on driving under the influence of drugs and other charges after a traffic stop on Niagara Falls Boulevard at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday. Briana L. N. Chisholm, 1614 Saunders Settlement Road, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of prescription drugs outside their original container, tailgating, failure to keep right and improper lane use.

• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the 2600 block of Highland Avenue. A 28-year-old man told officers that he was walking south on Highland Avenue, at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, when he was approached from behind by a male suspect, with a gun, who told him to "empty out your pockets." The victim said he took $1,600 out of his pants pocket and the suspect told him to "get on the ground." The suspect then shot the victim in the left buttock. The victim was treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and later transferred to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.
