• THEFT: Police are investigating a theft from the 7600 block of Buffalo Avenue. A 54-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, someone an overdrive and prop from her boat by unbolting them from the craft. The parts are valued at $1,500.
Town of Niagara
• CHARGED: Olu Z. Robertson, 34, Niagara Falls, was charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and a seat belt violation on Tuesday, according to state police. Pulled over on Lockport Road for not wearing a seat belt, Robertson fled from police after being asked to step out of his vehicle due to the strong smell of marijuana. Robertson ran toward the Belden Center area. With the assistance of additional state police patrols, Town of Niagara police, Niagara County Sheriff deputiest, Robertson was apprehended a short time later at St. Paul and Nevada avenues. Further investigation determined that Robertson had possessed marihuana and cocaine which was prepared for sale.
Town of Lockport
• MISCHIEF: Dominic M. Annalora, 22, 2486 Fuller Road, Burt, was charged Wednesday with third-degree criminal mischief, following a confrontation in the parking lot of the South Transit Road Wal-Mart. A 20-year-old Lockport man told deputies that Annalora punched the rear hatchback area of his car, causing $700 damage, and challenged him to a fight on Tuesday. The man said Annalora took a swing at him, missed and ran off through the parking lot. Deputies said Annalora agreed to meet them Wednesday, at which point he was charged.
