BLOTTER: Police reports published July 14


• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft from a vehicle that occurred between 8 and 8:50 p.m. Friday in the 8600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. The victim, a 66-year-old Berea, Ky. man, said he and his wife were eating at a restaurant and returned to their vehicle to find the passenger side rear window smashed and items missing. He said a suitcase with clothes, a toiletries bag and a CPAP machine for treating sleep apnea were all taken from the vehicle, valued at $2,350 total.
