FIRE CALLS: Niagara Falls fire reports published Feb. 9

(Continued)

ACCIDENTS: On Feb. 1, black ice contributed to two motor vehicle accidents and a vehicle fire on the I-190 near Buffalo Avenue. The crew from Truck 2, consisting of Capt. Bob Andrews and Firefighters Joe Dimino, Mike Sillett, and Leonard Nowakowski, responded to all three calls. Two separate accident patients were treated for their injuries and transported to local hospitals for further evaluation. The car fire, to a 1999 Ford Tauras, was caused by a mechanical malfunction and caused $2,000 damage.
