• PETIT LARCENY: An Elmwood Street resident reported Tuesday someone broke into his work truck overnight while it was parked across the street. According to the report, someone tampered with the lock and took a battery, fishing pole and seven Time Warner cable boxes valued at $1,050.

 
• LARCENY: Pernell L. Hobbs, 29, 39 Cave St., upper apt., was charged Sunday with petit larceny. A Cave Street woman told Lockport Police Hobbs had come to get some of his belongings, but after he left she noticed two of her rings were missing. The rings were valued at $100, the report said. Police arrested Hobbs on Cave Street.

 
• MARIJUANA: Cheryl M. Aquino, 17, 6598 Dysinger Road, apt. 9, and Harley V. Krantz, 20, 3401 Randall Road, apt. 2, Ransomville were charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Lockport Police reportedly pulled Krantz over for having an expired inspection sticker and no plate lights, but while speaking with him, officers said they noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The arrest report said three pipes with burnt residue and a clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance was found in the vehicle.
