• ARREST: A woman of unknown residence was taken into custody following a public display at 5:15 p.m. Friday in the 8200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. Annie Smith, 60, of no known address, was charged with disorderly conduct following a request for a welfare check resulted in Smith reportedly yelling and swearing at police. According to reports, Smith began cursing at officers, which caused a scene outside a shopping plaza. She was reportedly taken into custody without incident after refusing to stop swearing at officers despite being asked several times to quiet down.

WALES

• ARREST: Robert L. Malvestuto, 22, of Niagara Falls, was charged with DWI by New York State Police on Friday. Malvestuto was stopped in the Town of Wales during a State Police DWI holiday saturation patrol. Malvestuto refused a breath test.
