BURGLARY: Police were notified Friday morning of a burglary which occurred around 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. The property manager of an abandoned building in the 2700 block of South Avenue told officers someone stole an estimated $1,000 worth of copper piping from inside the building and the bank which owned it needed a police report. Officers reported investigating the house and seeing where the pipes were missing.

ARREST: A Falls man was arrested following a traffic stop in the 5600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 11:08 p.m. Thursday. Levester Rose, 34, 3243 Dudley Ave., was charged with tampering with physical evidence, obstruction of justice, aggravated unlicensed vehicle operation, speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped by state troopers. Falls police assisting the trooper reported Rose exited his vehicle, pulled a plastic bag from his pocket which contained a white substance, placed it in his mouth and swallowed it. Afterward, Rose told officers he swallowed marijuana, which was found inside his vehicle and tested.
