BLOTTER: Police reports published March 8

Town of Lockport

• ACCIDENT: A two-car accident on Evergreen Drive Thursday around 8 a.m. resulted in property damage, the New York State Police said. No injuries were reported.

• INCIDENT: The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a Carleton Lake Drive Home to help the South Lockport Fire Company with a forced entry into the home, the Sheriff’s Office said. A call came into dispatch that a “fall detection signal” had been activated in the home. The fire company was unable to get a response from anyone in the house, and decided to force their way in because of the nature of the call. The house was cleared, and no one was in the home. Damage to the door and the molding around the door occurred during the entry. The home owner was notified, the Sheriff’s Office said.
