• INCIDENT: Police said they recovered a Smith & Wesson .40 caliber, 10-round handgun magazine, loaded with seven rounds, from a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 5:45 p.m. Thursday. The magazine was found “in front of the produce department, near the bananas.”

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 100 block of Sixth Street. A 54-year-old man told officers that sometime between 4 p.m. Nov. 15 and 11 a.m. Thursday, someone entered his property by prying open a door. The victim said a large quantity of copper pipe was taken.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Pine Avenue at 2:50 p.m. Thursday. John Joseph Smith Jr., 48, 625 15th St., was charged with petit larceny. Smith is accused of taking more than $50 worth of deodorant without paying for it.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a car break-in in the 1200 block of Vanderbilt Avenue. a 45-year-old woman told police that she heard her car alarm go off at 10:30 p.m. Thursday and found the vehicle door open. The victim said a package of plastic silverware was taken.
