• ENDANGERMENT: Kelly Rados, no age given, 3671 Human Road, was charged on Oct. 5 with endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. A City of Lockport police officer arrived at Rados' residence in an attempt to serve a warrant. The officer knocked several times on various doors with no response, but could hear a young child crying inside. Sheriffs deputies were summoned and they too could not arouse anyone inside. Eventually a juvenile came to the door and deputies entered the residence. Rados was found hiding under a bed. She allegedly became verbally hostile and would not allow deputies to handcuff her. The children's father was contacted and he arrived a short time later.

DWI: Jacquelyn M. Meyers, 51, 2786 Ridge Road, Ransomville, was charged at 9:10 p.m. Saturday with DWI, failure to keep right and refusing to take a breath test after she was stopped on Saunders Settlement Road for a traffic infraction. Patrol could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and noticed signs of intoxication. According to the report, Meyers said she was coming from a nearby tavern and was heading home stating "I'm heading north on Ward Road going home."
