• ARREST: A pair of Falls men were arrested following a reported trespass between 9:43 and 10 a.m. Saturday at a residence in the 500 block of Seventh Street. Albert Torres-Roman, 18, 1340 Michigan Ave., and Jose Rivera, 21, 536 Fourth St., were charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, attempted petit larceny and resisting arrest. Witnesses told officers they knew no one was supposed to be in the vacant building, so when they saw a man inside, they alerted police. When officers arrived, Torres-Roman was leaving the building and immediately surrendered when approached. Rivera allegedly reentered the building and closed the door. He later reportedly left the premises and attempted to flee police through an alley, but was stopped. Officers reportedly found several feet of copper pipe in the basement detached and still wet.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a reported burglary which took place between 10 a.m. Sunday, March 24 and 9:56 a.m. Saturday. The victim, the owner of a company located in the 7800 block of Buffalo Avenue, told police an employee left several home construction tools in an unlocked, exposed area of a basement of a construction site and have gone missing. He said the tools are valued at $1,500.

• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft which occurred at 5:45 p.m. Friday from inside a store in the 1800 block of Pine Avenue. The victim, a 29-year-old Falls woman, said she placed two bags of recently purchased items on a chair near the entrance to the store and proceeded to shop more.
