BLOTTER: Police reports published Feb. 22

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1800 block of Weston Avenue. A 64-year-old woman told police that sometime between 4 p.m. Monday and 5:20 a.m. Thursday, someone broke into her garage by prying open a door. The victim said two vehicles inside the garage were damaged.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after she assaulted another woman in the 2700 block of Livingston Avenue. Brittney A. Vaughn, 24, 2725 Livingston Ave., was charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. A 20-year-old woman told police that Vaughn attacked her, at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, after accusing her of sleeping with the suspect’s stepfather. The victim said Vaughn punched her in the face, causing pain and damaging her glasses. When taken into custody by police, Vaughn told them: “What did you expect me to do? She slept with my dad.” While being booked at police headquarters, officers found three Morphine pills in a baggie inside Vaughn’s bra.
