• SHOOTING: Police are investigating a shooting in the 700 block of West Market Street. A building owner told officers that sometime between March 27 and 4 p.m. Monday someone shot at the structure leaving three bullet holes in the front windows.

 
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1000 block of Garden Avenue. A 70-year-old man told police that sometime between 7:30 and 7:50 a.m. Friday someone broke into his home through an unlocked rear door. The victim said a 32-inch flatscreen TV was taken.

• DOG BITE: A resident reported he was bitten by a dog while walking in the 8900 block of Fisk Road on Monday afternoon. The victim said two dogs ran from their yard toward him and one bit his right wrist, drawing some blood, according to the sheriff’s incident report. The responding deputy spoke with the dogs’ owner, who testified the dogs are up-to-date on rabies vaccination. The victim declined medical treatment, the report said. A dog-bite report was filed with the county health department.
