BLOTTER: Police reports published April 30

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1100 block of 19th Street. A 49-year-old man told police that sometime between 11 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his home by kicking in a boarded-up basement window. The victim said 32-inch TV, 45 pounds of scrap copper tubing and wiring and 30 children’s DVDs were taken.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drug-related charges during a compliance check by parole officers at 9 p.m. Sunday. Anthony Zellean Ferguson, 32, 1701 Ferry Ave., upper, was charged with third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Parole officers said they found Ferguson in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana.

• LARCENY: A Burch Road man reported to Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies that sometime Saturday he saw his Clarke 130-amp welder was missing. The $300 welder was last seen two days earlier, the report said. Surrounding neighbors said they did not see anyone enter the pole barn that housed the welder, deputies said.

• GRAND LARCENY: Deputies were called to Chameleon Pools on Mapleton Road on Saturday where they spoke with the company’s president who said multiple items were taken from the business between March 20 and April 14. The parts taken reportedly totaled $4,113 and include such things as reducers, heavy duty clamps and hoses. The company is reviewing surveillance video. Most of the missing pieces were in the rear of the business, stored outside, the company said, but they could have been taken from the locked storage units. A report has been filed, deputies said.
