BLOTTER: Police reports published April 2

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from a motel in the 9300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A 48-year-old man told police that sometime between noon Friday and noon Sunday, someone entered his room by unknown means. The victim said a laptop computer and an iPad were taken.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1700 block of Falls Street. A 37-year-old woman told officers that sometime between March 10 and noon Monday, someone broke into a gun safe that she had left in a vacant apartment building. The building may have been entered through an unlocked door. The victim said three shotguns, two rifles and some ammunition was taken.

• VANDALISM: Officers are looking into an act of vandalism in the 3400 block of Ninth Street. A 64-year-old man told police that sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday, someone poured sugar into the gas tank and radiator of his 2002 Chevy Blazer.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a domestic incident in the 800 block of Armory Place at 9:45 p.m. Monday. Lois Anita Worthy, 31, 825 Armory Place, was charged with second-degree assault.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Niagara Street at 11:40 p.m. Monday. Frank Huston, 64, 1617 Niagara St. lower, was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana and an equipment violation.
