• THEFT: Police are investigating the theft of a wheelchair from a store in the 1500 block of Military Road on Tuesday night. A 55-year-old woman told officers she left her wheelchair in the front of the store and used a motorized handicapped cart to do her shopping. When she returned to the from of the store, 30 minutes later, the wheelchair was gone.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Pine Avenue at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. David Gerald Grimaldi, 46, 462 Portage Road, Apt. 1, was charged with petit larceny. Grimaldi is accused of taking a pair of sun glasses without paying for them. Police said Grimaldi was highly intoxicated at the time of his arrest.

• ARREST: A Buffalo man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 700 block of Builders Way at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday. Danile R. Maund, 26, 339 Germania St., Apt. A-1, was charged with petit larceny. Maund is accused of taking 14 bundles of roofing shingles without paying for them.
