• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 3000 block of Ninth Street. A witness told police that sometime between 8 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, someone broke into an apartment there and damaged the unit. The apartment owner said about 14 feet of copper pipe were taken.

• ARREST: Two Falls men were arrested after they were caught burglarizing a home in the 1800 block of Ontario Avenue. Police said they responded to a call of a burglary in progress and when they arrived they found two suspects leaving the house. The men said they were in the house “just being nosey.” Eduardo Rivera Martinez Jr., 17, 2143 Seneca Ave., and Malik Stevell Mulkey, 17, 2945 21st St., were each charged with third-degree burglary and criminal possession of burglar tools.

• THEFT: Police are investigating a car break-in in the 2700 block of South Avenue. A 48-year-old man told officers that sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, someone broke into his 2000 Pontiac Bonneville by smashing a driver’s side window. The victim said a car radio was taken.
