BLOTTER: Police reports published Aug. 13


Brandon M. Howard, 26, 430 East Union St., Lockport was charged with criminal impersonation, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle with obstructed vision and operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device.

Becca R. Bliemeister, 20, 195 Fowler St., Kenmore was charged with obstruction of governmental administration.


Niagara Falls

ARREST: A Niagara Falls woman was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a traffic stop in the 400 block of 17th Street at 10:20 p.m. Sunday. Janet D. Tisdale, 48, 445 17th St., was charged with driving while intoxicated and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

THEFT: Police are investigating an SUV break-in in the 6600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A tourist told officers that sometime between 6:20 and 7:10 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his Saturn Suburban by smashing the front passenger-side window. The victim said a purse and an iPhone were taken.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a car break-in in the 100 block of Buffalo Avenue. A 50-year-old tourist told police that sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his 2010 Chrysler Town & Country by prying open a passenger-side window. The victim said an Apple iMac computer and a digital camera were taken.


• ILLEGAL DUMPING: The owner of a business set to open on the 4800 block of IDA Park Drive reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Sunday that he has had an ongoing issue with illegal dumping in his dumpster. Over the past five weeks, he said a man has been dumping boxes full of cat litter and feces into the dumpster outside the building. The business owner provided the deputy security camera footage of a man in a Chevy Trail Blazer pull up to the dumpster and throw several goes of cat litter in.
