Niagara Falls

• DWI: Laurine M. Stamborski, 54, 1618 Michigan Ave., was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and a traffic violation about 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to Niagara Falls police. She was charged after a traffic stop on the 2000 block of 18th Street. Officers noted that Stamborski was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center because her intoxication levels were so high.

• CHARGED: Ricky L. Rogers, 38, 622 18th St., was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal trespass about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Falls police. A 19th Street resident said she saw Rogers, a former neighbor, walk into her yard, light a cigarette and use it to burn three holes in an inflatable pool. The resident followed Rogers as he walked away and called 911.

• SHOPLIFTING: Michael A. Bajzik, 40, 2622 Youngstown-Lockport Road, was charged Thursday with petit larceny. A deputy from the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said they saw a suspicious man outside of a convenience store on Youngstown-Lockport Road. The man, identified as Bajzik, was carrying two bundles of prewrapped firewood, the same firewood stacked outside of the closed store. As deputies approached, Bajzik tried to get rid of the firewood but eventually admitted he took the firewood without paying for it.
