Armed robbery suspect sought

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Christmas Eve armed robbery at a Niagara Falls Boulevard gas station.

The suspect entered the business about 6:45 p.m. with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. He left the store after taking an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect left the area in a vehicle parked roadside on Crescent Drive, behind the gas station.

Anyone with information it asked to call sheriff’s Investigator Brian Schell at 438-3328.

  

Santa loses wallet on the job

Niagara County Sheriff;s deputies were called to Nash Road on Saturday where a man reported he had lost his wallet.

The man said he was playing Santa at grocer earlier in the day and bought a few items before he left. The man said he thought he slid his wallet into his pants pocket but it must’ve slid between his pants pocket and the pants for his Santa suit.

The wallet contained his driver’s license and credit cards.
