BLOTTER: Police reports published Aug. 14


• LARCENY: A man who parked his van in the 100 block of Buffalo Avenue Monday afternoon reported to police the theft of several items from his vehicle. Reports indicated that the man returned to his van at around noon to find someone had popped out the lock cylinder on the passenger, rear-side door. The victim reported stolen an Apple laptop, a Cannon camera flash, two Coach handbags and a Longiness watch. Total loss was listed at $5,080. 

• LARCENY: Officers investigated a report of a motor vehicle break-in Monday evening in the 300 block of Sixth Street. The victim told police that some between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Monday someone broke into their vehicle through a driver's side window and removed a brown duffle bag containing various items, including a laptop computer, clothes and various medications. Total loss was listed at $3,856.
