Niagara Falls

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1600 block of Pine Avenue. A 42-year-old man told officers that sometime between noon Sunday and 12:45 p.m. Monday someone broke into his storage room by prying a lock off of a door. The victim said pieces of wood, copper pipe and wiring were taken.

• ARREST: A Niagara Falls man was arrested on a drug charge after officers walking a beat on Third Street saw him smoking pot in the passenger seat of a truck that was parked in the 100 block of Old Falls Street. The driver of the truck was also arrested. Anthony Joseph Printup, 24, 27 Packard Court, Apt. E, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Stephen J. Zimmerman, 23, 888 East High St., Lockport, was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a license. Zimmerman reportedly lied about his identity to police and had a suspended driver's license.
