BLOTTER: Police reports published Feb. 12

Niagara Falls

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 500 block of 72nd Street. A 75-year-old man told police that sometime between 8 and 10 a.m. Monday someone entered his home by unknown means. The victim said a TV, a DVD player and a checkbook were taken.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary at a construction site in the 1600 block of Lockport Street. A construction foreman told officers that sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday someone broke into a trailer by cutting through a fence and then cutting the locks on the trailer. The victim said 300 copper fittings, worth $5,000, a photo copier and a flat screen computer monitor were taken. 

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1100 block of Ontario Avenue. The property owner told police that sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Monday someone entered his vacant home by kicking in a basement window. The victim said a small quantity of copper pipe was taken.

• THEFT: Police are investigating a theft from the 2400 block of Niagara Avenue. A construction company owner told officers that sometime between Feb. 4 and 3:30 p.m. Friday, someone took almost $3,000 worth of equipment from the back yard of a home he was working on. 

City of Tonawanda

• WARRANT: Jeffrey M. Grabowski, 21, of Linwood Avenue, Niagara Falls, was arrested Sunday on a bench warrant for suspended registration. He was held for court.

North Tonawanda 

• LARCENY: Timothy J. Begthold, 23, 1234 Military Road, Niagara Falls, was charged at 10:33 a.m. Tuesday with fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny and third-degree identity theft. He was brought from Niagara Falls City Court and held for court in North Tonawanda.
