Ransomville

• DWI: Michael A. Bajzik, 40, 2622 Youngstown-Lockport Road, was charged with aggravated DWI (BAC at or more than 0.18 percent), second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, drinking in a motor vehicle, DWI, endangering the welfare of a child, failure to yield the right of way and unlicensed driving about 3:30 p.m. Monday, according to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies. Deputies said Bajzik's mother called to report that he had her car without permission and has a revoked driver's license. Deputies located him driving his mother's Dodge Caravan on Youngstown-Lockport Road and attempted to make a traffic stop. Bajzik continued on to his Youngstown-Lockport Road home and was interviewed by deputies. He appeared intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Deputies noted that Bajzik had his 16-year-old son and a "drinking buddy" in the vehicle with him. Deputies also discovered open cans of beer and an open case of beer in the Caravan. Bajzik's blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent at the sheriff's office.

• WARRANT: Abrahiem K. Ashford, 26, of Schultz Street, Niagara Falls, surrendered Tuesday on a warrant for DWI and was held for court.
