Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft between 9 p.m. Thursday and 4 p.m. Saturday from a shed of a residence in the 700 block of 15th Street. The victim, an 81-year-old woman, said someone stole her snowblower from the secure shed. She said the lock on the door was secured when she last checked but her family, attempting to clean the driveway following fresh snow fall, said the door was slightly open and the lock missing. Police said no tire tracks were present.

• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft from a vehicle between 3 and 3:05 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of a drug store in the 8000 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. The victim, a 43-year-old Falls woman, said someone smashed the front passenger side window of her vehicle while she was shopping. She said her purse was stolen from the front seat, but it only contained her work identification and several store-specific reward cards. Police said the woman cleaned up the broken glass, put plastic over the exposed area and drove to the 700 block of 80th Street before alerting police.

• MISCHIEF: Police are investigating a reported disturbance between 4 and 4:10 p.m. at a residence in the 400 block of 25th Street. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, said she returned home from getting something to eat when she found an unknown black man beating up her boyfriend in her residence. She said the man, described as about 6-foot-5 with a stocky build and a mustache, also threw her property outside through a window, including clothes, a DVD player, and XBox 360 and a television. She said the man also punched a hole in another television in the residence. She said damage from the incident is about $1,650. The man reportedly fled the scene in a green SUV with tinted windows.
