• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 2200 block of Lockport Street. A caretaker told officers that sometime between 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, someone broke into a home she was watching by kicking in the front door. The caretaker said the house was ransacked and a number of items, including a television, a safe, a glass sculpture and the water meter were taken. 

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a neighbor dispute on A Street. Kimberly M. Faison, 44, 16 A St., was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. A 29-year-old woman told police that Faison punched the glass in her front door, causing it to shatter and cut her face.


• CHILD ABUSE: A Lewiston man has been charged by Niagara County Sheriff’s Office investigations with sexually abusing a child. Robert J. Elder, 34, faces one count of second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child. He was arraigned in Lewiston Town Court and held in lieu of bail of $5,000.
