• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported purse snatching at 5 p.m. Friday from a vehicle in the 300 block of Sixth Street. The victim, an 82-year-old Williamsville woman, told officers an unknown white male, about 5-foot-7 and 140 lbs, wearing a green jacket, approached her vehicle while she was inside and attempted to sell her winning lottery tickets. She said she was talking to the man when he reached into her vehicle and stole her purse and fled. She told police the purse contained a cell phone and $230 cash at the time.

• CHARGED: Marcus Walton, 34, 6558 Lincoln Place, Apt.
