BLOTTER: Police reports published July 25


• THEFT: Falls police were called to a restaurant on the 8600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard where a Fall resident reported someone smashed a car window and took a tote bag between 6:10 and 7 p.m. Tuesday. The tote contained medical records and a coffee mug. The estimated loss is $25..


• DWI: Jacob A. Wilson, 17, 2396 Lockport-Olcott Road, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, operation of a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol under the age of 21 and failure to stop at a stop sign. The Niagara County Sheriff's Office said Wilson and a passenger were found near his vehicle which was overturned in a ditch on Ridge Road. Wilson said he stopped at the intersection of Purdy and Ridge roads, then accelerated but the vehicle could not turn and they went into the ditch. Wilson reportedly failed all but one field sobriety test. Two different readings showed Wilson's blood alcohol content to be 0.15 percent and 0.16 percent.
