• SHOOTING: Detectives are looking for a suspect and a victim in a shooting that took place in the 2700 block of Highland Avenue. Witnesses told officers that they saw a man shooting from a silver SUV at the corner of Highland and Garden avenues at 2:25 p.m. Thursday. The suspect initially fired from inside the vehicle and then got out of the SUV and continued to fire at man wearing an orange shirt and white hat. The shooter then got back into the SUV and drove away, east bound, on Garden Avenue. Video capture by a nearby surveillance camera shows the shooting taking place. The victim, who was still being shot at, then hits the rear end of a parked car as he attempts to pull forward in the pickup truck. When the shooting stops, the victim flees the area, in the pickup truck, driving north on Highland Avenue. The pick-up truck was later found in the Monteagle Ridge Estates.
