BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 2100 block of Jerauld Avenue. A 50-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 7 and 11 p.m. Thursday someone broke into her home by unknown means. The victim said a PlayStation3 game system and some video games were taken.

ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 6:35 p.m. Thursday. Heather Goodwin, 21, 509 29th St., was charged with petit larceny. Goodwin is accused of taking over $128 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

City of Lockport

CHARGED: Charles Edward Griffith, 30,1642 Linwood Ave., Niagara Falls, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, an equipment violation and criminal possession of a controlled substance Friday. According to the report, Griffith was stopped on Hawley Street at 12:10 a.m. for driving without a license plate light. There was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and police found suspected marijuana scattered on the ground. Police also found an Opana pill, which is a controlled substance, and nine round tablets inside the vehicle. During booking, officers located more suspected marijuana on Griffith. All tablets and marijuana were sent to the laboratory  for further testing.
