Quick cemetery turnaround not so quick

Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a cemetery on the 3500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a car stuck on the property.

A tow truck driver had made the call before towing a Tonawanda man’s car from the north side of the cemetery’s lawn. The tow truck operator said he was worried about damage his truck might do to the lawn.
The Tonawanda man told deputies he had pulled into the cemetery to turn around and head back to a nearby restaurant where he had left his cell phone. In an attempt to turn around in the cemetery, the man said his car became stuck.
