• THEFT: Police are investigating a pair of car break-ins in a parking lot in the 8600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. Two patrons of a restaurant told officers that sometime between 4 and 8:40 p.m. Monday, someone broke into their cars by smashing the rear passenger and driver's side windows. One victim said a breast pump was taken from her car. The other victim said a gym bag may have been taken. 

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a van break-in in a parking lot in the 300 block of Sixth Street, A 71-year-old tourist told police that sometime between 5 and 7:20 p.m. Monday, someone someone broke into his 2010 Dodge Caravan by smashing the passenger side rear window. The victim said a laptop computer, a suitcase with clothing and jewelry inside and a purse were taken.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 6:45 p.m. Monday. Perrish Edward Spyres, 47, 7708 Niagara Falls Blvd., was charged with petit larceny. He is accused of taking a pair of boots and an Oreo cookie ice cream cake without paying for the items.
