Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident in the 1000 block of 57th Street around 5:50 a.m. Sunday. Henry Kojo Acquah, 37, 166 57th St., was charged with second-degree assault. Acquah is accused of attacking a woman and cutting her finger with a knife.

 
• ASSAULT: Police are investigating an assault in the 1800 block of Michigan Avenue. A 28-year-old woman told officers she was walking in the area at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, when she was attacked by two women and a man. The victim said the two women began to punch her in the face and the male suspect stabbed her in the left ear. 

 
• THEFT: Officers are looking into an SUV break-in in the 900 block of Robbins Drive. A man told police sometime between 10 and 10:22 a.m. Sunday, someone broke into his unlocked 2007 Jeep Compass. The victim said a GPS system and his passport were taken.

 
• THEFT: Police are investigating an SUV break-in in the 300 block of Sixth Street. A 50-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 2 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday, someone entered her Lincoln MKZ and took a GPS system.

 
• SHOOTING: Officers are looking into a shooting in the 3400 block of Ninth Street. Police said they responded to a call of “shoots fired” at 11 p.m. Sunday and when they arrived on the scene they found a 23-year-old man lying in a parking lot with a large crowd gathered around him. The people in the parking lot told police they saw nothing, but a nearby witnessed reported hearing four gunshots. The victim said the gunman who shot him took off in a black car, but had no additional information about the incident.

    Police are investigating a theft from a convenience store in the 2600 block of Niagara Street. A clerk told officers that four suspects, two males and two females, entered the store at 5:32 a.m. Wednesday and one of the women brought several items to the counter and paid for them with a New York state benefit card.

    Police are investigating a burglary in the 2500 block of 29th Street. An agent with the CSX Railroad Security Department told officers that sometime between April 4 and noon Monday, someone forced open the door to a storage shed on his company’s property.
