• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after he fired a shotgun in his house and the slug went through the wall of the residence and into a home next door. The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of South Avenue. Daniel Richard Kline, 50, 2222 South Ave., was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Kline told officers the shooting was an accident and that he thought "the safety was on when he puled the trigger." He also told police, "He had way too many beers to be handling a shotgun."
• ARRESTS: Narcotics detectives arrested a man and woman on drug and other charges after a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Cleveland Avenue at 8:06 p.m. Sunday. Shanika Danielle Perry, 23, 1744 Virginia Ave., was charged with tampering with physical evidence and failure to signal a turn. Tyrone "Fatman" Perry Jr., 28, 1614 Cleveland Ave., was charged with third, fourth and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and obstructing governmental administration. Detectives recovered a quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana, along with some Hydrocodone pills and cash from Tyrone Perry. Perry was also briefly hospitalized after telling detectives, "I swallowed crack."
• SHOOTING: Police are searching for suspects and a white mini-van in connection with a shooting in the 2900 block of Linwood Avenue at 9:53 p.m. Sunday. A witness told officers he observed the mini-van driving in the area and then heard three gunshots. Officers later found evidence that three shots had been fired into a nearby home. No one was injured in the shooting.
