City of Lockport

• POSSESSION: Deandre M. Mathews, 22, 1828 North Ave., Apt. 7, Niagara Falls, was charged at 9 p.m. Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Mathews was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic infraction, and a background check revealed that Mathews was wanted on a warrant in Lockport. He was taken to police headquarters. Upon arrival, an officer noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the back seat area of the patrol vehicle where Mathews was sitting. The officer found in the rear seat area a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana.
