OLCOTT

Restroom wrecked with hockey stick

Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to Krull Park on Lake Road about 9:30 p.m. Friday were staff reported a public restroom's was vandalized.

A park employee told the deputy that sometime between 6 and 9 p.m. someone damaged the ceiling panels and bathroom partition in the restroom, which was located on the east side of the park, near the ice rinks.

The deputy said it appeared a hockey stick was used to strike the ceiling panels and partition. The hockey stick was found broken in half and in a toilet.

The estimated damage is $450.

A large vending machine was also damaged in the building. It appeared the sides of the machine had been kicked in. The estimated damage is $1,000.

Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested following an incident at 6:55 p.m. Friday at a health care facility in the 500 block of 10th Street. Kelly Foster, 55, 1570 Buffalo Ave., Apt. 35, was charged with trespass after security reported his unwillingness to leave. Police report Foster was asked to leave multiple times but refused, saying he had no place to go. Security told police the man has spent several days at the facility without seeking medical attention while bothering patients. He's reportedly been kicked out of the building seven times in the last two weeks, according to security. He was transported to police headquarters.

Cambria

• ACCIDENT: Three people were injured in a one-car accident Saturday afternoon on Ridge Road. When members of the Cambria Volunteer Fire Co. arrived on the scene about 4 p.m. they found the car in a ditch. The three occupants of the car were taken to local hospitals.
