Pharmacy site of burglary

Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a pharmacy on the 2500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard for a reported burglary early Monday morning.

When they arrived about 12:45 a.m., deputies said alarms were sounding and they found a west window broken out with a brick, which was inside the store. Deputies checked the area and found no one around.

A video surveillance tape showed a masked man breaking the window and entering the business. He then tried to enter the secured pharmacy. The man kicked the pharmacy door three times and then moved to the counter and attempted to pull up the gate at the counter. After failing to gain entry to the pharmacy, the man went to the front of the store and left out the broken window without taking anything.

Deputies said there is a possible suspect in the case.
