The resident peeked through the blinds and saw a man in a hooded sweatshirt jacket at the door. When she asked what he wanted, the resident said the man appeared startled and quickly asked for a Chris. The resident said no one lived there by that name and he quickly left. The resident told police she usually at work by 7 a.m. and felt her home was being targeted for burglary.

• INCIDENT: Falls police were called to the 400 block of 18th Street for a reported stolen vehicle Wednesday afternoon. When they arrived on the scene, officers met up with a man who said he had spotted his boss’ recently stolen car being driven in the area of 19th and Niagara streets. The man followed the car to 18th and confronted the driver who relinquished the keys. The car’s owner was brought to the scene.
