Traffic accidents follow domestic

A domestic dispute outside of the Butcher Shop at Lincoln Avenue and Davison Road Thursday escalated into a demolition derby of sorts as the suspect left a serious of traffic accidents in his wake while fleeing the scene.

Police say the incident began shortly before 5 p.m. as Jermaine Webster smashed the window of a car with his fist while arguing with a woman inside. Webster eventually took the car, leaving the woman and her infant child behind.

As he drove to his mother’s house on Vine Street, police said Webster left a series of traffic accidents in his path. City police could not say how many traffic accidents he caused or the extent of their damage.

Webster was eventually charged with numerous criminal and traffic charges at his mother’s.
