Niagara Falls

• PETIT LARCENY: A Bolliver Avenue resident reported two Mobile GPS systems were taken from their vehicle overnight Friday. There was no sign of forced entry.

• PETIT LARCENY: A woman told police that between Thursday night and Saturday morning, someone entered her hotel room and took $300. The hotel is located in the 300 block of Sixth Street.

• PETIT LARCENY: A Main Street woman told police that she woke up Saturday morning and found a computer, cell phone and $95 were missing from her apartment. She said she took a man home from a bar and she fell asleep next to him. When she woke up, the man was gone, along with some of her belongings.

• GRAND LARCENY: A Niagara Falls man told police his jeweler called to see if he still had his wedding ring. The man then discovered the ring was stolen. The jeweler, who designed the ring for the victim, said a suspect entered his business to sell him the ring. The jeweler said he paid the suspect $270 for a $6,000 ring. The jeweler also said he bought the ring because he suspected it was stolen. The jeweler also called the Town of Tonawanda police who now have the ring in custody.

• DWI: Duncan Edzell, 56, 1146 Ashland Ave., was charged at 6:54 p.m. Friday with driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to Main Street and Michigan Avenue for a report of a man hunched over the wheel. Upon arriving, police reached in and turned off the ignition. Rural Metro and the Niagara Falls Fire Department also responded. Emergency responders checked Edzell’s blood sugar level, but determined he was intoxicated. Edzell failed several field sobriety tests. He registered a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent on a breath test.

Pendleton

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Campbell Boulevard business reported an unknown person damaged the rented sign in front of the property. It appears that someone kicked the portable electric sign, cracking the front plastic and smashing the bulbs inside. The damage was $500.

Town of Niagara

• DWI: Erik T. Krauss, 25, 3222 North Ave., Niagara Falls, was charged with DWI and speeding. Officers paced the vehicle at approximately 60 mph in a 45 mph zone at 11:50 p.m. Friday. The vehicle crossed over to the Niagara Falls side of Porter Road and did not immediately pull over, going approximately 60 mph in the 35 mph city zone. It was pulled over about a mile into the city. Patrol smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the breath of Krauss as he spoke. Krauss failed field sobriety tests and registered a 0.17 percent blood alcohol content on the data master unit.

Wilson
