Niagara Falls

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1000 block of Niagara Avenue. A 30-year-old man told officers that sometime between 8 and 8:20 a.m. Saturday, someone broke into his apartment by slicing through a window screen. The victim said $400 was taken.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 400 block of Memorial Parkway. A 45-year-old woman told police that sometime between 9 and 10:20 a.m. Saturday, someone broke into her home. The victim said a quantity of jewelry was taken.

• ARRESTS: Roving Anti-Crime Unit officers arrested two people on prostitution related charges. Ashley M. Smith, 21, 2205 Falls St., was charged with prostitution. Lonnie I. Weaver Jr., 34, 5905 Garlow Road, was charged with patronizing a prostitute. Officers said Smith flagged down Weaver and drove to the 2400 block of Mackenna Avenue, around 12:43 a.m. Sunday. Once there, Weaver told officers he paid Smith $30 for oral sex.

• ARRESTS: Two people were arrested after a fight outside a Taco shop in the 2400 block of Pine Avenue early Sunday morning. Corrine Elizabeth Weaver, 19, 228 71st St., and Jeremy M. Eberly, 24, 1040 85th St., were each charged with disorderly conduct.

Town of Niagara

• CHARGED: Bryan E. Winn, 26, 1311 South Ave., Niagara Falls, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. Winn was stopped Sunday morning on Packard Road for failure to keep right. The patrol smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his breath, and also the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Winn failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. A passenger in front seat admitted to possessing a quantity of suspected marijuana and she was issued an appearance ticket for the violation.

City of Lockport

• CHARGED: Theresa A. Ferguson, 46, 255 Genesee St., Apt. 4, was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment. The patrol was dispatched to Washburn Street on Saturday where both victims reported being threatened and grabbed. It is an ongoing problem and the victims requested an order of protection.

Cambria

• CHARGED: Grady I. Peterson, 37, 1415 Fairfield Ave., Niagara Falls, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated. The Ridge Road complainant reported Peterson was sleeping in a vehicle at the end of the driveway. Patrol found Peterson sleeping in the drivers seat and the keys in the ignition. Peterson failed field sobriety tests and was transported to Niagara County Sheriff’s Department where he refused to take a breath test for intoxication. He was arraigned at Cambria Town Court and was released pending a June 3 court appearance.

North Tonawanda

• DWI: Eugene S. McGoidrick, 19, 296 Linden Ave., was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. Police determined he had a blood alcohol content at or above 0.08 percent. McGoidrick is being held in lieu of $250 bail.
